Sushi Hero fish-chopping endless runner available for iPhone and iPod touch today

Developer Design Symphony's first game, Sushi Hero, is available for iPhone and iPad touch today, mobile games publisher Ayopa Games announced along with the release of a new trailer.

The game resembles a cross between Jetpack Joyride and Fruit Ninja, as players control a sushi chef running endlessly along a corridor of sea critters he must slice and dice. Players can dash through 20 levels stylized to resemble different environments and hack their way through eight different kinds of aquatic delicacies, including crabs and blowfish. Collecting and using wasabi activates a speed power-up that will help chain chopping and rack up combos.

An iPad version of Sushi Hero is in the works, along with a port for Android devices. Check out the video above for a look at Sushi Hero in action and grab the game on the iTunes App Store for $0.99.
