PlanetSide 2 Station Cash purchases tripled today for holiday sale

PlanetSide 2 players can earn free, additional Station Cash with each purchase of the Sony Online Entertainment-branded currency today as part of the game's week-long holiday promotion.

Anyone who purchases Station Cash or redeems a prepaid card on the PlanetSide 2 website will get triple the amount of cash for their real-life money; instead of getting a measly 500 Station Cash for $5, you'll receive 1500 Station Cash.

That currency can be spent on PlanetSide 2's vanity items, infantry weapons and vehicular weapons, the latter of which is also 15 percent off today.
