Residentevil.net is releasing retro-style Resident Evil 6 costumes inspired by the blocky graphics of the series' classic titles that can be picked up during online events, Capcom-Unity announced.
The first event, "Zombie Mayhem," will take place on Dec. 28, when Resident Evil 6 players must join forces to take down as many zombies as possible. All online participants will unlock one costume if the event hits 15 million players worldwide.
The next event has not yet been announced, although Residentevil.net will continue to update its site with dates. You can view all six costumes in detail at the Capcom-Unity blog.
Resident Evil 6 released on Oct 2. for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360; a PC version is expected in March. Xbox owners can now grab the game from Games on Demand for $39.99 (3,200 Microsoft Points).
