Zero Escape director reveals next game in series

The third entry in the Japanese game series Zero Escape, which features Nintendo DS title 999: Nine Persons, Nine Hours, Nine Doors and visual novel Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward, is in development, game director Kotaro Uchikoshi confirmed on Twitter.

Details of the game are available on Uchikoshi's Twitter account, where he is answering a number of fan questions relating to the new game. According to the series director, the game will include characters Phi, Junpei and Luna in some form. The game is not near release, however, with Uchikoshi only specifying fans must "wait a while" to see the title.

Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward, the second title in the series, launched on 3DS and PlayStation Vita on Oct. 23 in North America. 999, the first game in the series, launched to North America in 2010.
