Developer Level-5 goes behind the scenes of Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch

Take a peek inside the offices of Professor Layton and Dark Cloud developer Level-5 in this new behind-the-scenes video for PlayStation 3 role-playing game Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch.

The video is part documentary, with Level-5 president Akihiro Hino walking viewers through the developer's Fukuoka, Japan headquarters, and part introduction to the game, a collaboration with celebrated animators Studio Ghibli. There are moments of fun spread throughout, including game director Ken Motomura acting out some Ni no Kuni motion capture, complete with wand and Wizard's Companion props. Later in the video Hino discusses the concept of Ni no Kuni and shows early artwork for the game.

The PS3 version of Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch will be published in North America and Europe in January. The game was released in Japan in 2011.
