Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams, the Kickstarter funded side-scrolling debut from Black Forest Games, will launch on Xbox Live Arcade and as a PC retail title in spring 2013, the developer announced.
Earlier in the year, Black Forest Games raised over $186,000, exceeding its original funding goal by 24 percent. The game was later submitted to Steam Greenlight, gaining enough fan votes to become approved for distribution on Valve's digital platform. Giana Sisters is the second Steam Greenlight title to become available for sale.
The game, which is adapted from the 1980s platformer of the same name, features two sisters who journey to a world where each of their different abilities become central to solving puzzles and downing monsters.
Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams is currently available on GamersGate, Good Old Games and Steam.
