A handful of new screenshots of Dragon's Dogma's upcoming DLC expansion, Dark Arisen, appeared on the game's recently relaunched Japanese website earlier this morning.
The screens show off one of the DLC's new, punishing bosses: Death, who you may have accidentally met while facing off against one of the core game's hyper-difficult bosses. He probably didn't look like this though, towering over the opposition with an iconic scythe in hand. Other screens show off less-menacing enemies exclusive to the Dark Arisen DLC, as well as a few supporting characters who will help you survive in the new area.
Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen will launch on PS3 and Xbox 360 sometime in 2013.
