Duke Nukem 1 and 2, the first pair of installments in the crass shooter franchise, are available for download through GOG today in a $5.99 bundle for PC and — for the first time ever — Mac.
The sidescrolling run-and-gunner has appeared on several platforms since its inception in 1991, including MS-DOS and even Game Boy Color. However, the bundle's DRM-free launch on GOG marks the first time Mac gamers can see the series' pre-3D roots.
As with most other classic games on the GOG platform, the Duke Nukem 1 and 2 bundle includes several bonuses for its downloaders, including a scan of the original manual and a standalone version of the games' original soundtrack.
