Rayman Legends launching Feb. 26 in North America

Rayman Legends, the Wii U-exclusive sequel to Rayman Origins, will be available in North America on Feb. 26, 2013, Ubisoft announced today.

The platformer includes returning favorites Rayman, Globox and the Teensies, and introduces some new faces, Murphy and Barbara. It features a number of GamePad-specific features such as the ability to play as a support character and perform actions that help other co-op partners through the game's colorful side-scrolling levels.

Interested parties will have the opportunity to try Rayman Legends for themselves next week: A demo will be available worldwide in the Wii U eShop on Dec. 13.

Ubisoft announced earlier today that Rayman Legends will launch in Europe, the Middle East and Africa on Feb. 28, and in the U.K. on March 1.
