An evil version of George Washington set to star in the upcoming The Tyranny of King Washington DLC for Assassin's Creed 3 made his video debut at the Spike Video Game Awards tonight.
"What if the story of America was not the one you knew?" the video's narrator asks. The DLC imagines an alternate reality in which the story of America is its opposite — built on tyranny instead of freedom, born of greed and desire for absolute power. Not a nation governed by a president, but empire commanded by a tyrant: King George Washington. And there's only one man who can stop him. You can check out the trailer at the 4:00 minute mark above.
The Tyranny of George Washington is one of five DLC packs planned for Assassin's Creed 3. Its first DLC pack, The Hidden Secrets, will be available this month and contains several of the levels that were previously available as pre-order bonuses through specific retailers.
