A new trailer for Trion Worlds' massively multiplayer shooter Defiance gives a first look at the title's frantic, co-op alien-slaying action.
Defiance's SyFy television series counterpart is still shrouded in mystery and confusion, but the gameplay seen in the trailer below is pretty straightforward. There's a lot of team-based shooting, a few dune buggy tricks, and a lot of Starship Troopers-esque insect enemies to obliterate. That doesn't sound like a whole lot to base the plot of a TV show on, but looking at past classics like Raptor Island and MegaFault, SyFy doesn't need much of a baseline for these kinds of things.
Defiance is scheduled to launch on PC and consoles "soon."
