Aliens: Colonial Marines video takes you inside the Alien Hive

Gearbox Software's Aliens: Colonial Marines takes place after the film Aliens, and publisher Sega released a new video today that shows off the state of the Alien Hive in the game — particularly, how that location is different from its appearance in Aliens.

The Aliens constructed their Hive in the engineering room of the U.S.S. Solaco, a vessel players will have to explore in order to search for missing personnel. The video starts off with a piece of concept art for the Hive, and transitions into the in-game location.

Aliens: Colonial Marines is set to be released Feb. 12 on Windows PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, with a Wii U launch to follow at a later date. Check out our most recent preview, which focused on the single-player campaign.
