The Organ Trail: Director's Cut brings zombie plague to PC, Mac and Linux

The Men With Hats game studio has officially taken its retro game-inspired zombie survival title The Organ trail: Director's Cut to PC, Mac and Linux platforms, the developer announced.

The brilliantly named adaptation of the classic educational game The Oregon Trail adopts the style of the early Apple 2 title, while adding new zombie mechanics and references. Players attempt to trek westward in a station wagon with four other friends while scavenging for supplies and fighting off the undead.

The game is currently available for $4.99 here; However Steam keys will retroactively be given once the game is greenlit through Steam Greenlight. The Organ Trail is also available on Android and iOS devices, as well as in Flash form; However, those who purchase the title will gain access to a new endless mode, 40 new road events and combat upgrades among a number of other new features that update the game.
