Mew-Genics will include cat races

Mew-Genics, the latest project from Team Meat, will allow players to race their cats, Ed McMillen announced on the Team Meat blog.

The announcement came as part of the developer's unofficial "Caturday" posts, which reveal new information about Mew-Genics every Saturday. Players will be able to take their feline friends to the sewers to join Frank's Cat Races, where they can find fortune or "maybe even a few magical poopies."

Mew-Genics was announced in late October of 2012. The game will release for iOS, as well as several other unrevealed platforms. Last week, McMillen wrote that players will have the ability to freeze their cats.
