Capcom shows off Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate’s Plesioth

New, comments

Plesioth is the latest creature in Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate to be revealed on Capcom's blog.

Plesioth, a Piscine Wyvern, originally appeared in the first Monster Hunter; since the game didn't support underwater combat, Plesioth could duck below the water to hide. Players will now be able to challenge the beast, wet or dry, but Plesioth has water moves of its own. The wyvern can perform full-speed charges, cause splash damage or shoot water directly at targets.

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate is slated for release in March on Nintendo 3DS and Wii U. You can view a previously revealed monster, Volvidon, here.
