Microsoft Studios revealed Play today, a showcase of Xbox-branded games available on Windows 8 devices, according to a post on Play XBLA.
The games on Play support achievements, leaderboards, multiplayer and other features. The list includes Skulls of the Shogun, whose simultaneous Jan. 30 release on Xbox 360, Windows 8, Windows RT and Windows Phone was announced last week. Other games on display include ilomilo plus, which made its Windows 8 debut last December and The Gunstringer: Dead Man Running, an endless runner based on Other Ocean Interactive's Kinect-enabled Xbox 360 series.
Last August, Microsoft announced that its new operating system's built-in games would be branded as Xbox Games on Windows 8. In keeping with the theme, Play also highlights casual games like Microsoft Solitaire Collection and Microsoft Mahjong. You can check out a trailer highlighting the service and games above.
