Capcom will release an updated version of its free PC game Street Fighter X Mega Man this Friday, Jan. 18, smoothing a few of the game's "rough edges" and adding a Mega Man 2-style password feature.

According to Capcom Unity, Street Fighter X Mega Man V2 will fix a handful of bugs, improve the game's controller support and make M. Bison a bit stronger. The update will also address performance issues related to playing the game on Intel integrated GPUs. Additional changes are detailed on the Capcom Unity blog.

The update, like Street Fighter X Mega Man itself, will be free to download and play on Windows PC when Capcom sets it live this Friday around 5 p.m. PT.
