Resident Evil 6 will receive several general updates and tweaks, including the ability to optionally activate quick-time event assists in each of the game's difficulty modes, following a title update on Jan. 22, Capcom announced via their blog.
Additionally, access to Resident Evil 6's Agent Hunt Mode no longer requires players to complete the game. Players will also be able to select criteria such as stage, region and settings including Infinite Ammo and Friendly Fire before joining an Agent Hunt session. Other updates include the ability to access already completely stages within chapters at any time and general fixes on difficulty.
Resident Evil 6 released on Oct. 2 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. A Windows PC version will be available March 22 and will include all the content from the original console release, as well as free downloadable content updates.
