Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen coming to Japan on April 25

Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen, the upcoming DLC expansion of the brutally difficult game, is slated to hit Japan on April 25, according to a recent Famitsu livestream broadcast.

The Japanese release of Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 is priced at 4,990 yen, or roughly $56 USD.

Dark Arisen was first announced by Capcom during last year's Tokyo Game Show. The upcoming release features new monsters, including the Great Goblin, Goblin Shaman and Death. Also featured are new weapons, customization options and a dungeon set in Bitterblack Isle. For Japanese users, the game includes Japanese voice-overs something not made available in the previous game.

We have contacted Capcom regarding the North American release date of the game and will update when more information is made available.
