The three major factions populating The Elder Scrolls Online are at war over the sacred city of Cyrodil and the fertile farmland surrounding it, according to the latest teaser video from developer Zenimax Studios.
Each warring faction — the Aldmeri Dominion, the Ebonheart Pact and the Daggerfall Covenant — believes they have what it takes to rule Tamriel and make the land prosperous. The city's rulers are weak, with each alliance seeking to muscle them out of power. At the same time, there are other powerful forces in Tamriel on their way to the city, making claims of their own.
