Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 developer Treyarch is holding a double XP weekend from Jan. 25-28, the studio announced today.

The XP bonanza begins at 1 p.m. ET Friday, Jan. 25, and concludes at 1 p.m. ET Monday, Jan. 28, giving players 72 full hours of ranking up their profiles and weapons at twice the normal rate.

Treyarch announced the promotion shortly after releasing a trailer for Black Ops 2's upcoming Revolution DLC, the game's first, which will be available on Xbox Live Jan. 29 and on other platforms afterward. In previous years, Call of Duty DLC packs have launched on PlayStation 3 and Windows PC approximately one month after their release on Xbox 360. Black Ops 2 is also available on Wii U.
