Platinum Game's over-the-top third-person action title, Bayonetta, will launch for PlayStation 3 via the PlayStation Network on Jan. 29, Sega Blog announced.
As one of the last surviving witches of an ancient clan, Bayonetta wages war against Heaven itself to find answers to her mysterious past. Players battle enemies by stringing together combos, slowing down time with "Witch Time" and using Bayonetta's special moves.
Bayonetta will be available for $19.99, followed by a European release on Jan. 30 for £14.99 . The game was first released for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in January 2010. A Nintendo Wii U-exclusive sequel was announced in September 2013.
