Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus free for PlayStation Plus members Jan. 29

Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus for PlayStation Vita will become free to download for PlayStation Plus members in North America when the Jan. 29 PlayStation Network update rolls out, according to the PlayStation Blog.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus is a port of Ninja Gaiden Sigma, an enhanced version of Ninja Gaiden released for PlayStation 3 in 2007. Sigma Plus uses the Vita's touch and move capabilities; players can tap the touch pad to strengthen moves, or move the system itself to aim and more.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus was released Feb. 22, 2012, for $39.99.

The forthcoming PlayStation Plus update also includes discounts on Section 8: Prejudice, Madden 13, Gatling Gears and Greed Corp.
