Activision is honoring soldiers by beginning a USO/Armed Forces Entertainment tour featuring three of the voice actors from Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, Forbes reports.
Kamar de los Reyes, known for his role as villain Raul Menendez, will join James Burns and Rich McDonald — who perform the voice-acted roles of Sgt. Frank Woods and Commander David Mason, respectively — will play the game against troops during the tour from Jan. 28 to Feb. 4.
"We play at war on the safety of our sound stages, with imaginary weapons and pretend enemies. These men and women face the real thing every day, we want to honor that fact and give the real heroes the attention they deserve," said de los Reyes, who is currently in his third USO tour. "I've always been humbled by the sacrifice our military and their families make every day to ensure our freedoms. I can't wait to look these men and women in the eye and express to them in person how much we appreciate their service. It's an honor that leaves me speechless."
In addition to this entertainment tour, Activision is sending multiple bases and hospitals free copies of Black Ops 2, including the Royal Air Force Lakenheath in the United Kingdom and the USO Warrior Center at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany.
