The campaign of Injustice: Gods Among Us tells a story in which good and evil aren't so black and white, and the game's newest trailer sets up that complicated conflict.
The DC Universe's traditional heroes and villains aren't necessarily on opposite sides of this battle, and as usual, it seems like The Joker is acting only out of self-interest. Developer NetherRealm Studios has previously said the campaign structure will resemble that of Mortal Kombat and Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe, in the sense that it will consist of a ladder of opponents and story cutscenes.
Injustice: Gods Among Us is set for release April 16 on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii U.
