God of War Legacy bundle includes all six God of War games and red PS3 for $349

The God of War Legacy bundle, which includes a Garnet Red 500 GB PlayStation 3, God of War: Ascension and the five God of War games before it, will be available for $349 on March 12 in North America, the same day as Ascension, Sony announced today.

Ascension is included alongside the God of War Saga, the PlayStation Collections bundle that features all five existing God of War games: the PlayStation 2 titles God of War and God of War 2, the PS3 game God of War 3 and the PlayStation Portable titles God of War: Chains of Olympus and God of War: Ghost of Sparta. The package also comes with a 30-day trial subscription to PlayStation Plus.

"We wanted to give our fans a complete collection of the series in this bundle so they can relive nostalgic memories of their first God of War adventure or experience the adventure for the first time if they are new to the series," said John Koller, the vice president of platforms marketing for Sony Computer Entertainment America, in a press release announcing the Legacy bundle.

Sony previously announced the Garnet Red PS3 would be available alongside an Azurite Blue model in Japan at the end of February.
