Freeze your Mew-Genics cats with the Cryo-Cube 5000

Mew-Genics players will be able to freeze their kitty pals using an item called the Cryo-Cube 5000, Ed McMillen revealed on the Team Meat blog.

In a short post proclaiming "the future is now," McMillen addressed a number of scenarios in which players might find cryogenic freezing handy.

"Have you ever loved something so much that you wanted to bring it into the future so your children's children could enjoy it?" McMillen wrote. "Or how about simply wanting to put something on ice before you get arrested for animal abuse? Or how about just needing to freeze a kitten seconds before you off yourself so your future self can look at it on the wall and remember the life you once had?"

A release date has not yet been announced for Mew-Genics. The game is expected to launch on iOS and other unrevealed platforms.
