Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes launching on iOS App Store Jan. 24

Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes, the puzzle game adaptation of the classic strategy franchise, will make its long-overdue debut on the iOS App Store on Jan. 24, Ubisoft announced today.

The title will cost $4.99 in North America and £2.99 in the U.K., though it remains unclear as to whether that price will cover a universal version of the app, or whether the iPhone and iPad versions will be sold piecemeal. We've reached out to Ubisoft to find out.

The iOS port of Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes, which was announced last June, was developed by Tag Games, and not Capybara, the creator of the DS and console versions of the title. You can check out the updated visuals and a tease for "new multiplayer features" in the trailer posted above.

Update: Touch Arcade reports that Ubisoft confirmed the release date and pricing info for the North American version of the game. We've updated this post accordingly.

Update 2: A Ubisoft representative confirmed the multiplayer options for the iOS version of Clash of Heroes includes both local and asynchronous online multiplayer.
