Get a fresh look at the next-gen version of Madden NFL 25

In a new trailer for Madden NFL 25, EA Sports touches on the graphical changes that will set the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions of the football sim from its current-generation counterparts.

In addition to a more detailed field surface in which the new EA Sports Ignite engine renders "almost every blade of grass," the next-gen Madden will boast four times the texture resolution, improved lighting on players and their helmets, higher fidelity animations and sub-surface lighting effects on players' skin.

To see those graphical tweaks, tighter and wider camera zooms and other "things we just couldn't do in the past," according to Madden NFL 25 art director, Jean Adams, watch the video above.

Madden NFL 25 will hit PlayStation 4 on Nov. 12 in North America, Nov. 29 in Europe; and Xbox One on Nov. 19 in North America, Nov. 21 in Europe.
