With talent hailing from New Zealand, Japan, Kuwait, France, England, America, Singapore and more, Australia's leading fighting game tournament Shadowloo Showdown is set to unleash the top international fighters upon the country when it commences later this month.
As outlined in the video above, numerous special guests confirmed include Mad Catz' Tokido and Mago, AVerMedia's GamerBee, Shungoku Neurosis, Abegen, Uryo, DJ Huoshen and DM MCZ Xian, who won the Super Street Fighter 4 world championship at Evo 2013.
Shadowloo Showdown 2013 will host tournaments for the games listed below. Event attendees will be able play fighting games not officially included in the tournament list, such as Dead or Alive 5, Skullgirls and Guilty Gear.

Shadowloo Showdown 2013 will take place at "The Atrium" at Flemington Race Center, Melbourne, Australia from Oct. 12-13. Interested fighters are invited to register online for competitor passes by Oct. 6.
Last year's tournament was dominated by Japanese and American fighters: Super Street Fighter 4: Arcade Edition ver. 2012 (Eita, Japan), Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 (AG.MCZI Marlin Pie, USA), Soul Calibur 5 (MCZI Tokido, Japan), Skullgirls (EGI Justin Wong, USA), Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown (RZRI Fuudo, Japan) and Street Fighter 3: 3rd Strike Online Edition (THI Mov, Japan).
