3DS StreetPass Relay feature to start sharing six visitors at a time

The Nintendo 3DS StreetPass Relay, which lets a user download the StreetPass data of the last 3DS owner to check in at a Nintendo Zone location, will soon be expanded to increase the amount of tags you can pick up in one visit.

As announced in this morning's Nintendo Direct, folks who check in a Nintendo Zone locations will now grab the data for the last six visitors at that hotspot, exponentially increasing the number of StreetPasses you'll gain with a single visit. The update will launch "starting in a few days," according to a Nintendo of America representative, and should hopefully allow North American users to finish puzzles and complete rounds of Find Mii at a faster rate.

For more on the functionality, including a list of active Nintendo Zone locations, check out Nintendo's official site.
