Saints Row 4's Enter the Dominatrix DLC launches Oct. 22

The first Saints Row 4 expansion, Enter the Dominatrix, will be released Oct. 22 as part of the game's season pass, publisher Deep Silver announced today.

Customers who don't own the $9.99 season pass will be able to purchase the add-on by itself for $6.99. The other half of the season pass includes the second Saints Row 4 expansion, How the Saints Saved Christmas, which will be available later this year.

Enter the Dominatrix was originally the title of a planned expansion to Saints Row: The Third, but THQ decided to flesh out the add-on into what became Saints Row 4, and the content was pushed off into this DLC pack.

Developer Volition Inc. said during San Diego Comic-Con this past July that Enter the Dominatrix is a "pastiche of all the things that were cut" from Saints Row 4 — such as a fire-breathing dragon and a Bollywood-style dance sequence — presented as a mockumentary that explains why those elements were excised. Fans will be able to ask Volition questions about Enter the Dominatrix during a three-hour livestream of the DLC scheduled for 2-5 p.m. ET on Oct. 23 on the studio's Twitch channel.
