Waves: Arena Tactics, the sequel to Squid In A Box’s 2011 title Waves, will launch for Windows PC in 2014, the developer recently announced.

Arena Tactics is a twin-stick shooter in which players blast away balls of light. According to the developer’s announcement, it will take “the arcade action of the original and [pair] it with more of everything.” Arena Tactics will include new weapons and abilities, as well as online multiplayer for competitive and co-op play for up to four players.
Waves: Arena Tactics is being developed with Epic Games’ Unreal dev kit. You can get a first look at the game in the video above.
