Former Valve engineers launch Kickstarter for 3D AR and VR headset
Jeri Ellsworth and Rick Johnson, formerly of Valve, have been working for the past 18 months on a 3D augmented and virtual reality headset. The developers are asking for $400,000 to fine tune the hardware and design of the castAR, which could be the Oculus Rift's biggest rival should it find success.

Friends lists on the Xbox One will be part of their own dedicated app on the console's dashboard: Friends. Players can follow and favorite other users, as well as view their actions in a dedicated activity feed and use the feature in Snap Mode or with voice commands.
