The Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences’ unveiled the first round of 2014 DICE Summit speakers today, including representatives from the console, PC, mobile, development and eSports ecosystems.
DICE 2014 speakers include reps from Microsoft, MLG and Unity


Speakers will include David Helgason, CEO of Unity Technologies, Ed Fries, who helped create Microsoft Game Studios and is co-founder of the Xbox Project, Clive Downie, CEO of DeNA and Sundance DiGiovanni, co-founder and CEO of Major League Gaming.
DICE 2014 will revolve around the theme “The New Golden Age of Gaming.”
“While usually bestowed posthumously on a period of great prosperity and creativity, we have the experience and foresight to realize we are witnessing a new Golden Age,” said Martin Rae, president of the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences. “For the 2014 DICE Summit we’ll examine what this means to the many great minds who grace our stage, looking back at trails blazed and forward to amazing possibilities and potential pitfalls around the bend. I’m very much looking forward to see how our roster of speakers envisions this next evolution for our industry.”
The 2014 DICE Summit and the 17th annual DICE Awards will be held Feb. 4-6, 2014 at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. Registration is now open through the event’s official website where discounts are available until Nov. 8.
