The Legend of Zelda producer Eiji Aonuma took to Nintendo's U.K. Facebook page this week for a Q&A about A Link Between Worlds and signed off with a tease that links the upcoming game with its 13-year-old predecessor.
Announced earlier this year, A Link Between Worlds is a Nintendo 3DS sequel to the Super Nintendo game A Link to the Past. Majora's Mask, which was released for the Nintendo 64 in 2000, may be connected in some way with the next installment in the adventure game franchise.
"Oh, one more thing," Aonuma wrote. "I see many of you have been asking about a remake of Majora's Mask for Nintendo 3DS. It's nice to see such a strong response to this title, and we haven't forgotten about Link's adventures in that world. If you play A Link Between Worlds, you may better understand what I mean by that."
