Dust 514 welcomes players back with free dropsuits

Dust 514 players who have been inactive on their account for at least 60 days will receive two free gifts if they return, CCP Games announced via the game's website.

Dust 514 is CCP's free-to-play first-person shooter that connects with its long running MMO, Eve Online. Returning players will receive 100 copies of the Black Eagles Scout Dropsuit and 100 copies of the Quafe Scout Dropsuit. According to the developer's post, absent players have continued to accrue passive Skill Points as well.

The offer is part of a "welcome back" to players who may have dropped off before several of the game's improvements. Dust 514 has since been updated to include new maps, reworked vehicles, improved matchmaking and more.

CCP Games recently hired Jean-Charles Gaudechon to serve as the game's executive producer. For more on how Gaudechon plans to make Dust 514 more intense, check out our interview.
