An update for Total War: Rome 2 adds a new playable faction, gameplay patch and Steam Workshop support, developer The Creative Assembly recently announced.
Players will be able to access the Seleucid Empire in both the single-player campaign and multiplayer games. This includes new units, building and technology trees, objectives and a new wonder. The faction is known for its engineering skills and relies on "expert cavalry regiments to enforce and expand their borders."
With Workshop support — which has been in beta for several weeks — developers can test new updates and offer original content. The game's fifth patch adds several technical and performance tweaks; the full list is available on the game's Wiki page.
