Rocksmith 2014 launch trailer argues its merits at teaching guitar

The launch trailer for Ubisoft’s Rocksmith 2014 Edition features testimonials from experts and players alike on the ease of using the game to learn guitar.

The video demonstrates how Rocksmith 2014 starts a neophyte off easy, reducing a song to one note at a time. As the game detects a player improving, however, it will begin to scale the difficulty up on the fly.

Previous Rocksmith 2014 trailers have focused on the arcade games and heavy-duty lessons that help players learn how to play the guitar or bass.

Rocksmith 2014 Edition hits Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Windows PC and Mac today.
