The Commentary Mode for The Fullbright Company's story exploration title, Gone Home, is available now via Steam as a free update, the developer announced.
The new mode adds an hour and a half of behind-the-scenes audio content. As with commentary in Valve titles, clickable audio cues appear around the game's house. Players can listen to background information from the game's creators, as well as voice actress Sarah Grayson, composer Chris Remo and Sleater-Kinney and Heavens to Betsy lead singer Corin Tucker. The mode is still "making its way" to the Mac App Store and Humble Store.
Gone Home's soundtrack is now available for $7 through Remo's Bandcamp page, while the game itself is currently 50 percent off on Steam, the Mac App Store and the developer's website. The sale ends Oct. 25.
Fullbright's Steve Gaynor revealed the commentary DLC earlier this month. For more on Gone Home, read our review.
