Beginning Oct. 29, McDonalds in Sweden will start serving an eSports-inspired burger following a naming promotion, according to GameSpot.
The McNiP, pictured below, is the result of a McDonalds burger naming competition in Sweden where an eSports fan submitted the name of his favorite eSports organization Ninjas in Pyjamas (NiP). It will be available from McDonalds restaurants located in Sweden for a week.
With its beginnings as a Counter-Strike team in 2000, Ninjas in Pyjamas is a European eSports organization. It disbanded in 2007 but reformed in 2012 to compete in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournaments. NiP established its first League of Legends team earlier this year when they brought on former members of the Copenhagen Wolves.
