Assassin's Creed: Liberation HD hitting PC Jan. 15, Xbox 360 early 2014

Assassin's Creed: Liberation HD will launch for Windows PC on Jan. 15 and for Xbox 360 in early 2014, Ubisoft announced today.

The title, a remastered upgrade of the original 2012 PlayStation Vita title, will be available digitally for $19.99. The game will be available on Jan. 14 for PlayStation 3.

According to a press release from Ubisoft, players who purchase the Season Pass for upcoming title Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag will receive $5 off a copy of Liberation HD.

In Assassin's Creed: Liberation, players control half French, half African-American Aveline — the series first female assassin — on her own assassin adventure, trekking through18th century New Orleans and exploring Mayan Ruins. The HD remake was announced in September.
