Blizzard Entertainment will link another round of World of Warcraft servers via its Connected Realms feature on Oct. 28, the developer announced via Battle.net.
World of Warcraft connecting additional realms Oct. 28

Connected Realms were introduced with World of Warcraft's 5.4 patch. The feature links two or more servers in order to grow realms with a low population. Once connected, players can join the same guilds, dungeons, raids and more. The next round of realms will be down for maintenance from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. ET and includes the following:
- Blackwing Lair and Detheroc/Dethecus
- Anub’arak and Chromaggus/Garithos
- Drak’Tharon and Firetree/Rivendare
- Blood Furnace and Mannaroth
- Nesingwary and Vek’nilash
Since the feature’s introduction, more than 20 servers have already been linked. Blizzard plans to link another group as well, though dates have not been provided. Upcoming Connected Realms include the following:
- Haomarush and Detheroc/Dethecus/Blackwing Lair
- Stonemaul and Bloodscalp/Maiev/Boulderfist/Dunemaul
- Tortheldrin and Frostmane
- Winterhoof and Kilrogg
- Gul’dan and Skullcrusher
- Lightning’s Blade and Burning Blade
