Sid Meier's Ace Patrol: Pacific Skies, the second Ace Patrol title from the legendary strategy game designer, will be released Nov. 5 on Windows PC and Nov. 7 on iOS, publisher 2K Games announced today.
It will be available through Steam on PC for $4.99. We've reached out to 2K to ask whether it will cost the same on iOS. The game will support iPad 2 and up; iPad mini; the fourth-generation iPod touch and up; and iPhone 4S and up.
Developer Firaxis Games released the original Sid Meier's Ace Patrol, which was set during World War I, as a free-to-play title on iOS this past May and a paid download on PC in August. The sequel takes the franchise into the Pacific theater of World War II. For more on Pacific Skies, check out our interview with Meier himself.
Update: A 2K Games representative confirmed to Polygon that Ace Patrol: Pacific Skies will cost $4.99 on iOS as well as PC.
