The Entertainment Software Association released a public service announcement today to educate families about video game ratings and parental controls.
You can check out the video above to see the message in motion. Targeted at parents, it explains the Entertainment Software Rating Board's rating system, which is designed to help parents make decisions about their kids' games, and parental control options.
"This PSA will reach millions of parents through our industry's unique network of businesses and innovative technology platforms," said Michael D. Gallagher, president and CEO of the ESA. "Our industry has an unparalleled commitment to ensuring parents and consumers are informed when making purchasing decisions for their families."
The ESA began distributing the PSA to stations across the U.S. today and will also share the video on video game consoles, websites, online stores and more.
