Developer Croteam has announced a Halloween-themed update to its 2011 shooter Serious Sam 3.
The 'Serious Sam 3 Halloween Update' includes a 'Halloween Blood' mode featuring explosions of festive pumpkin chunks and orange goo. A Jack O' Lantern item has also been added, randomly placed throughout the game and yielding bonus health and ammo.
Serious Sam 3 is being offered at an 85 percent discount through Oct. 31, down from $39.99 to $5.99
