GTA Online now live, Rockstar looking into server issues

Grand Theft Auto Online is still suffering server and bug issues. Rockstar has promised the studio is working diligently to fix the problems and get players robbing banks and playing golf with their friends in no time. We'll keep updating this post throughout the week as things progress.

Next-gen Deus Ex game in development at Eidos Montreal

Eidos Montreal is working on a new Deux Ex game for next-gen consoles and PCs. According to studio head David Anfossi, "most of the team" is hard at work on the new title, of which there is no set release date just yet. This new game will be part of what the studio is calling the "Deux Ex Universe," an "ongoing, expanding and connected game world built across a generation of core games" and other media including literature and comic books.

Tom Clancy, author of military thrillers, co-founder of Rainbow Six studio, dies at 66

The renowned author passed away Tuesday night, leaving behind a long line of espionage and military literature, films and video games. Ubisoft said the company will continue to develop titles within the Tom Clancy universe, preserving the legacy that began in 1998 with Red Storm Entertainment's Rainbow Six.
