A new video from 8-Bit Cinema retells the story of Pixar’s Finding Nemo as if it were an old-school videogame.
Pixar’s Finding Nemo recreated as an 8-bit game
The story is broken down into short levels approximating the film’s plot: Marlin and his wife Coral are attacked by a barracuda, leaving him a widower caring for their lone remaining egg. That egg hatches into his son Nemo, but Nemo is abducted by scuba divers on his first day at fish school. Marlin and the quirky Dora give chase, trying to find Nemo before he’s lost forever.
Finding Nemo was released in 2003 and is one of the highest-grossing animated films ever made.
