Oddworld Inhabitants is thinking about developing new Oddworld experiences, with "two different possibilities" currently under consideration, said studio head Lorne Lanning in an interview with Joystiq.
Oddworld creator considering ‘two different possibilities’ for new content

The company is working with developer Just Add Water on Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee New 'n Tasty (screenshot above), and recently did ports of Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee and Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath. Lanning wants to develop new Oddworld content, but isn't speaking specifically about his plans so as not to disappoint fans.
“[There are] two different possibilities,” Lanning told Joystiq. “I don’t want to say what they are, because we’ve talked way too many times and not actually delivered a title.”
Lanning is thinking about going to Kickstarter, but would prefer not to do so; instead, he and his studio are waiting to see how New ‘n Tasty performs when it launches in 2014 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, Wii U, Windows PC, Mac and Linux.
“But if there’s enough of those people out there to support it, then we’ll be able to fund the next big thing for us,” said Lanning.
