The Quebec government will invest $1.5 million into Batman: Arkham Origins developer Warner Bros. Games Montreal — a grant that will help the company add 100 jobs, CTV Montreal reports.
Expansion is expected to take place over the next five years and is part of a larger $63 million project that will allow the company to upgrade its equipment. According to the publication, jobs will pay approximately $70,000 per year. Employee are, on average, 30 years old.
In addition to Arkham Origins, Warner Bros. Games Montreal also worked on Lego Legends of Chima Online and the Armored Edition of Batman: Arkham City.
WB Games Montreal isn't the only developer boosting its staff. Last week, developer Ubisoft announced that it would add 500 jobs to its Montreal operations, thanks to a contribution from the Quebec government.
